Three public facilities were removed in 2001 to make room for construction of the current Lewisville City Hall. Dedication plaques taken from each of the three buildings are placed on the City Hall site. Markers here recall two previous City Hall buildings, opened in 1957 and 1971, and a branch U.S. Post Office, opened in 1957.
